Register Now! March 29th Workshop for Kids Ages 5-12
The Friends of the QueensWay and The Trust for Public Land are hosting a workshop for children (between 5 and 12 years old) living in Forest Hills, Rego Park, Glendale, Richmond Hill, Woodhaven, or Ozone Park, to share their ideas for the proposed 3.5 mile QueensWay linear park and cultural greenway, on Saturday, March 29, from 2 – 3:30PM.
Workshop facilitation will be provided by Hester Street Collaborative. Participating children will learn about the QueensWay proposal, and engage in hands-on group activities, aimed at soliciting their ideas for a kid-friendly QueensWay.
Space is limited, so parents must register their child by emailing: [email protected]. Please provide your child’s age. The workshop will be held near Forest Park. The specific location will be provided upon registration.
