QueensWay Cleanup

After hosting cleanups and plantings off the tracks, we are back this year with a Cleanup on the Tracks. As we all know, they continue to be a home for litter and much worse.
Join us, Friends of the QueensWay and Earth Citizens Club, and other local community members as we spend a couple of hours cleaning up a section of the tracks within Forest Park.
Tools and anything else we will need to cleanup the site will be generously provided by Parks Department – Forest Park staff (thanks Nicole for coordinating!)

**We will meet in front of the Stop n Shop on Union Turnpike (8989 Union Turnpike, Queens, NY 11385). We’ll arrive at 8:45 am and begin walking over to our cleanup site at 9am, via the public path alongside the Forest View Crescent Apt. Building that leads to official Forest Park entry point. Please sign up so that we may be prepared with enough supplies.
